On Tuesday 24th June our Year 12 School Vice Captains Hunter Floyd and Kayla Woods flew to Brisbane to attend the first ever Queensland Budget: Student Experience.

Hunter and Kayla were able to engage in the State Parliament processes, witness deliberations and watch the handing down on the new State Budget. The experience also included meeting the Queensland Premier, David Crisafulli, speaking with numerous Ministers, lunching with Mackay Member Nigel Dalton and touring Parliament House.

It was a wonderful opportunity, engaging experience and certainly a memory to never forget!
