We are excited to inform you about an important new tool we will be starting to implement at Mackay State High School from Term 2, 2025. The Compass Parent Portal is an online portal that allows you to access up-to-date information about our school and your child’s progress. 

The Compass Parent Portal will work alongside QParents to support in providing open communication between all members of our school community. We will be conducting a well planned and strategic rollout of Compass, stagerring the introduction of it’s features.

The first parent feature we will be implementing is Parent Teacher Interviews. Next term you will be able to book your Parent Teacher Interviews directly through the Compass Portal. Further information regarding this process will be available early next term.

How do I access Compass?

Compass is accessible on any modern web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) or by using the Compass iOS or Android apps.

To log in you will require your unique family username and password. These details will be provided to you by our school in the near future. Upon first login, you will be required to change your password and confirm your email address and mobile phone number. These details may be used by our school for SMS, password recovery and email communication throughout the year.

Compass Apps

You can download the Compass App on iOS and Android devices, simply search for Compass School Manager in the store.

Over the next couple of weeks, our compass portal will go live. At this time you will be sent and email with information on how to access and sign up to the Compass Portal. Reminder emails will be sent periodically as reminders to register for the portal.
